Layne Riggs led 100 of 150 laps at Nashville and won the Allegiance 200 by 0.468 seconds over Rajah Caruth — his second Trucks win of 2026 — after points leader Kaden Honeycutt lost power on lap 116 and finished 27th.

What Happened
Riggs led from lap 1 and held the front through the opening stages without serious challenge. By lap 12 he had a 1.939-second gap over Honeycutt. By lap 31 it was 3.136 seconds. He won Stage 1 at lap 45 and Stage 2 at lap 95.
The race changed on lap 116. Honeycutt — who started second and was running inside the top five all night — lost power off turn 4 and slowed on the frontstretch. The caution came out at lap 119. He finished 27th, three laps down. The points leader came to Nashville as the favorite to close on Riggs in the standings and left 27th.
While Honeycutt was losing his engine, Caruth — who had started 25th and worked methodically through traffic — was building toward a run at the lead. He led 44 laps through the middle and final stages, and on the lap 125 restart he led from the inside with Chastain outside. Caruth held the position. Riggs — who had pitted at lap 120 for fresh tires — worked back through the field and passed Caruth in turns 1-2 on the final lap to win by 0.468 seconds.

Lap 150, turns 1-2. Caruth led entering the final lap. Riggs came to the inside and cleared him. It was the only time all night Riggs didn’t have the lead by choice.

Rajah Caruth. Started 25th, led 44 laps, led the final restart, and had the lead on the last lap. He finishes 0.468 back. An O’reilly cameo that was genuinely close to winning against a dominant full-time truck.
Also Honeycutt. Led laps from 2nd, was running toward a top-five result and a points day when the engine went quiet on lap 116. He came to Nashville as the standings leader. He leaves 27th.

Riggs wins his second race of the season and does it the way a championship contender is supposed to — most laps led, both stages, fastest truck. The Charlotte win came when the clock expired. Nashville was earned from lap 1.
The Honeycutt DNF is the result that reshapes the Trucks standings. He was running toward a points day at minimum, a top-five finish at best. Losing power on lap 116 with the points lead turns a neutral weekend into a deficit. Riggs gains points on the day while Honeycutt loses them. The gap at the top of the series tightened when it was supposed to be holding.
Caruth’s run from 25th to second is worth more than the result line suggests. He’s an O’reilly driver doing a truck cameo and he nearly won. The 44 laps led and the last-lap battle with Riggs are not things most cameos produce.

- Riggs has now led 100+ laps in both of his 2026 wins (52 at Charlotte, 100 at Nashville). He won both stages at Nashville and led every lap through Stage 2.
- Honeycutt’s engine issue at lap 116 is his second DNF-adjacent result in three races (DNF at Charlotte after the Trucks win, near-DNF at Dover). The points lead is now vulnerable.
- Love — starting third — was collected in the lap 69 caution when Tanner Gray and Jake Garcia crashed after contact. He finished 34th, 80 laps down.
- Chastain led 7 laps in another Trucks cameo and finished fourth — his best Cup cameo truck result since Watkins Glen in the Xfinity series.
- Riggs’s fastest lap (160.703 mph on lap 2) held as the fastest of the race — over a second faster than anyone else’s best.
